I have a lovely holiday cottage adjoining my house. The cottage is situated in a pretty rural hamlet on the edge of the Eden Valley, a truly get a way from it all location. The area is a haven for wildlife lovers and bird watchers, there are pheasants, buzzards, woodpeckers and red squirrels inhabiting this lovely corner of Cumbria. Guests are welcome to enjoy the fantastic views from the garden. Comfortably furnished in a country style the cottage has exposed stone work, flagged floors and original roof trusses in the open plan living area. There are two pubs in the nearby village of Kirkoswald serving good food and for every day needs there is a PO/Store. One mile further down the road is Lazonby where there is an excellent Co-op.

Ground floor: entrance hall, open plan kitchen/dining area with four steps down to a cosy siting area with wood burning pot-bellied stove, 2 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom with brass bedstead, 1 single bedroom. Bathroom with mains shower over bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Facilities: electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron/ironing board. Colour TV/DVD. Radio/CD player. Bed linen, travel cot and towels provided. Electric storage heating, logs for the stove and all electricity included in the rent. No smoking please. Sorry no pets. Private parking.
